My first cousin, Huitt Barfoot, researched our Barfoot family in the 1960s, and found that we descend from Miles Barfoot, our great great grandfather. Some twenty or so years ago I started researching our ancestors, hoping to find Miles's family. I haven't found them yet. I'm still looking but I have found lots of other ancestors.
